坐月子的英文怎麼說？

坐月子似乎是東方婦女特有的習俗，老外女人好像是不來這一套的。 那現在問題來了，我要怎麼跟外國朋友講「坐月子」這件事呢? 在英語中有特定的用法嗎?

目前在台灣學術上 針對坐月子都採取音譯「Tso Yueh-tzu 」 最著名的是翁玲玲教授 因為外國沒有類似的 只有產翁couvade，是法文，已被廣泛接受
